Head of School
01Leadership
Led by someone who farms.
The YPA Agribusiness School is led by a farmer who works the land, understands the market, and has built an agribusiness from the ground up. Students learn from someone who is active in the field.
Our head of school brings years of hands-on experience across YPA's goat, maize, and apiary operations, and leads a small team of agronomists, veterinarians, and business mentors. Students learn from people who are actively running the ventures they teach.

Where practical skill meets real land.
The YPA Agribusiness School was built around a simple belief: the best way to learn agribusiness is to run one. Not in a classroom, but on real farms, with real livestock, real harvests, and real market consequences.
Our curriculum focuses on sound business practice and reliable farming skills. Students work alongside YPA's professional herders, agronomists, and veterinary teams on our live ventures in Gomba.
By the end of the programme, graduates leave with an agribusiness mindset, a working understanding of the numbers behind their farm, and the confidence to launch or scale their own operation within YPA's network.

Goat Farming Project
Work with YPA's 110,000+ goats. Learn about the Mighty Breed, pasture management, herder coordination, and herd health.
Maize Farming
Take part in maize production on YPA's 1,700+ acres in Gomba. Learn about planting, crop care, harvesting, and market coordination.
Beekeeping (Apiary)
Get practical experience in YPA's 15,000-hive apiary. Learn about hive management, honey production, and the apiary value chain.
