OUR BREED – The Mighty YPA Goat Breed
At YPA, we take great pride in offering a custom-made goat breed that has been carefully selected for its superior qualities. The YPA Goat Breed is a cross between three distinct and highly valued breeds: the Mubende (local breed), Boer (from South Africa), and Kalahari (from Asia).
This unique crossbreed has been specifically developed to combine the best traits of each parent breed. The Mubende is known for its adaptability to local environmental conditions, while the Boer and Kalahari are renowned for their rapid growth, excellent meat production, and high fertility rates.
The YPA Goat Breed is not only hardy and well-suited for the diverse climates across Africa, but it also boasts excellent meat quality, rapid weight gain, and resilience to disease. This makes it an ideal choice for both smallholder farmers and larger-scale agribusiness ventures, ensuring high productivity and profitability.
Our breed is selected for its excellent reproductive potential and ability to thrive in various environmental conditions, making it a reliable and sustainable choice for any goat farming initiative.
